Equipment in the room
|
BedroomsAll the rooms were created taking inspiration from contemporary designers such as le Corbusier, F.L. Wright, Breuer, McIntosh, Mies Van Der Rohe. Fully air-conditioned, they have large bay windows overlooking the sea, Monaco's famous Rocher or the gardens. Whatever type of accommodation chosen, each patient benefits from the same level of comfort and safety: beds are fitted with medical headboards which feature all critical care functions. Each bed is power-operated.
All rooms are equipped with a telephone and a television. Internet access is available via a Wifi network. Each room has ensuite facilities accessible to patients with reduced mobility or wheelchair-bound. All bathrooms are fitted with a nurse call system, grab bars and a seat. Towels and bed linen are changed every day and as often as necessary.
The four levels are equipped with a telemetric surveillance system, and each of the 4 inpatient units has no more than 6 rooms organised around a dedicated medical care and monitoring unit.
A direct link with the Hotel Hermitage provides relatives with the opportunity to benefit from accommodation in one of the most prestigious establishments of the "Société des Bains de Mer". |
Your stay in a "private room"If you choose a private room, the person accompanying you may stay with you and unless otherwise requested, his/her meals will be ordered and served at the same time as yours in your room.
During your stay in the intensive care unit, the person accompanying you will be offered accommodation in one of the comfortable rooms at the Hotel Hermitage, next door to the Cardiothoracic Centre of Monaco. He/she can reach the Centre's reception desk by phone from his/her room by dialling: 9 During this short period, a "Continental" breakfast, the cost of which is covered by the Cardiothoracic Centre of Monaco, will be served in the Hotel Hermitage's "Regency" room. During your stay in the private wing, meals and accommodation for the person accompanying you are included in the cost of the applicable package. Any other expenses, such as meals and beverages of other relatives or visitors at the restaurant, should be paid directly by them as and when they are consumed.
Entering and Leaving the CentreWe recommend that the person accompanying you inform reception should he/she need to enter the centre between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. In this case, he/she will need to ring the bell of the "emergency unit", identifying him/herself in order to gain access to the clinic at night.
Please feel free to pass on your remarks, expectations, questions and suggestions: We are open to your comments and will be happy to answer you, assist you and give you satisfaction. |
